At AVS, we specialize in voice training, focusing on helping singers. However, we faced an internal challenge. While we’re a vocal studio (not a guitar studio), many singers who came to us expressed a desire to have enough guitar skills to play some chords at our open mics. But they didn’t want traditional guitar lessons—they wanted to focus on what mattered most to them, and just learn the guitar basics.

So, we created “Fireside Guitar”, designed to help our students build the confidence and skills they need to perform at their best. Tune in for quick tutorials, arrangements we’ve put together, and interviews with composers, guitarists, and other educators to expand your knowledge.
